We visited 2 Frida Schools and it was refreshing to be with their confident, respectful students and experience the effect their education has on them.
Wow - Frida Schools, Gothenburg, Swedish Fika - cinnamon bun & coffee / 3 kids were our teachers at Orsa school / 600 kids from 1 - 16 / games / confident kids / approx 15 yr olds / pedagogs or teach aides for after school care and during class / Fridaskolan - Frida School / no cost to attend / 4 - 5k per child / 3m / 700k for Whakawatea / teacher salaries come from this amount / 5 Frida schools - Grundskola Göteborg / opened in 2014 - 420 staff in total - 4K students over the 5 schools / we educate tågluffare! - back packing / a feeling of warmth & welcome and everyone must say hello & climate of support and care for one another / uppfattar problem - calibrate or act or react, triple loop, fire go out - react / student lateness - triple loop / make the vision across the community, their, my, our vision / if staff don't hook up with the vision then this is not the place for them / Simon sysnak and the golden circle - why how what / the power of the good story - IKEA, Apple / educate each other so we are all experts amongst our staff / system theory - fox / take one away and it can collapse but don't just focus on the fox / Wayne Gretsky - or any world player, set goals, I always go where the puk isn't 'yet' implemented system theory / mind the gap - ET / TIU - what's my gap when I'm up in my balloon / the doing thinking gap book / OTL / the Fine Fish / be positive, sea world - given a fish when they perform - PB4L / fish are our manu / #6 beautiful ending USA president - gets interrupted by an excited person later remember rule #6 / what? Don't take yourself too seriously & it doesn't have to be strictly to the rules or done so quickly - did anyone die ?
